Magic Kingdom Entertainment

Beyond the attractions, dining and shopping there is so much else to do at Magic Kingdom park!

To start their day guests can experience the Welcome Show right at Cinderella Castle and end their night watching Happily Ever After.

Throughout the day guests can meet their favorite characters or catch a parade!

Characters can be found all throughout Magic Kingdom. Disney PhotoPass Photographers are on hand to be sure to capture all of your family’s memories.

Main Street Entertainment

Main Street, U.S.A. is always buzzing with entertainment. This section of Town Center all the way to The Hub features different entertainment all throughout the day.

Citizens of Main Street

Throughout the day guests can mingle with the folks who live in this small American Town.

Guests can converse with the locals and even the Mayor.

The Dapper Dans

A Disney classic, the Dapper Dans, a singing troupe that cover classic American tunes and Disney songs.

Flag Retreat Ceremony

Each day at 5PM the Flag Retreat Ceremony is held in Town Square.

Guests can watch as the American flag is lowered in a retreat while the philharmonic plays the “Star Spangled Banner.”

The flag is removed and folded by members of the Color Guard and handed to a guest Veteran who is visiting the park for the day.

Main Street Trolley Show

Several times each morning the Main Street, U.S.A. citizens perform the Main Street Trolley Show.

They will head down Main Street, jumping on and off their trolley is they perform songs and dances to welcome you to Magic Kingdom.

Nighttime Entertainment

Happily Ever After

Each night the sky above Magic Kingdom lights up with a symphony of fireworks as the story of love, bravery, fear and heroism is told by your favorite Disney characters.

Cinderella Castle itself is covered in projections to help tell this story. It something that you have to see to believe.

Happily Ever After shows nightly just before park closing.

Special fireworks shows are held during the Holidays, the Fourth of July and New Years Eve.

Once Upon A Time

Prior to Happily Ever After each night, Once Upon A Time takes over Cinderella Castle with projections and music.

This show highlights the stories of your favorite Disney characters.

Electrical Water Pageant

Each night on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake the Electrical Water Pageant takes float.

Guests can enjoy these light up barges as they display different seas and music taking a tour around Magic Kingdom and the resorts.

Parades

Festival of Fantasy Parade

Everyday at 3PM guests can catch all of their favorite characters as they head from Frontierland through to Main Street, U.S.A. in the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Disney characters will ride by on larger than life floats. Be sure to not miss the life-size, steampunk, Maleficent float as she shoots fire in the air!

Special parades are held during the Holidays.

Move It! Shake It! MouskeDance It! Street Party

Held several times daily, the Move It!, Shake It! MouskeDance It! Street Party takes over The Hub.

Guests can join in with Disney characters in this dance party in front of Cinderella Castle!

Rainy Day Cavalcade

If you happen to be at Magic Kingdom when it is raining and Festival of Fantasy Parade gets cancelled, do not fear!

There is a special small parade called the Rainy Day Cavalcade. This short special show is only performed when weather impacts the main parade.

Mickey and his pals will travel down Main Street in the Main Street Vehicles to greet guests.

Let The Magic Begin Welcome Show

Each morning, just before the park opens, guests are welcome to head down Main Street, U.S.A. to Cinderella Castle.

Here, they will be able to watch all their favorite Disney characters welcome them to their day at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire

Several times each day, all of your favorite Disney characters gather on the Cinderella Castle stage for Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire.

Guests can watch their characters sing and dance to the music from all their favorite films.

The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History

All throughout the day in Liberty Square guests can watch different shows featuring The Muppets.

The Muppets appear in the windows above the Main Street to tell different tales of American history, with a Muppet flare.
