Navigating Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios parks is broken into different areas to help navigate the park.
The areas are designed to transport you to different times and locations. This is completed through the architecture and theming utilized in the different areas.
The areas of Hollywood Studios are:
- Hollywood Boulevard
- Sunset Boulevard
- Animation Courtyard
- Toy Story Land
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (Opening Summer 2019)
- Grand Avenue
- Commissary Lane
- Echo Lake
Guests enter Hollywood Studios on Hollywood Boulevard. Shops line both sides of the street, including the parks Starbucks location.
At the end of Hollywood Boulevard sits the Chinese Theater, once the parks icon.
Looming at the end of Sunset Boulevard is the Tower of Terror. The screams of the guests draws you down the street. Shops sit on both sides that lead to many of the parks popular attractions.
Animation Courtyard was once a location where guests could draw their favorite Disney characters. Today this area is home to many popular attractions with young kids. As well as some great exhibits in ‘Walt Disney Presents’ and ‘Star Wars Launch Bay’.
Toy Story Land
Guests enter right into Andy’s backyard at Toy Story Land. Featuring whimsical architecture guests will shrink to the size of the toy. One of the newest lands at Hollywood Studios, all guests are sure to find something that they love here.
Toy Story Pop-up Shop
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (Opening August 29, 2019)
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is where guests can live out their own Star Wars adventure! Visiting Batuu guests will mingle with those who live their and build their own reputation that will follow them around the land.
Grand Avenue is a Souther California themed area of the park. The land is home to classic attractions and unique restaurants. It is a great place that offers something for all ages.
Commissary Lane is a single street in Hollywood Studios that has great dining and entertainment. Although it is a small area of the park there is a lot to see and do.
Echo Lake is home to some vintage Hollywood Studios and dining locations. This part of the park has remained largely untouched making it a great place to experience quintessential Hollywood Studios.
