Spending A Day Outside The Parks

One comment

Now, we all know that there is so much to do inside the parks at Walt Disney World. But, what if you wanted to spend a day outside the parks?

Whether it’s to save a little money on the park ticket or you just want to experience some of the great activities outside the parks, there is so much to do.

Resort Hop

Just because you’re staying at a certain resort does not mean you can only visit that resort. Consider resort hopping! It is super easy to do with the WDW transportation system.

Go check out some of the great Disney theming at the Value resorts or the storytelling at the Deluxe.

You can try some of the different dining locations and shopping that all of the resorts have to offer!

Many resorts include extra special activites:

Use Your Resort Amenities

Speaking of resorts, spend the day at yours! Each day all of the resorts offer different activities. Complete Disney trivia at your pool, roast smores around the campfire and watch a movie under the stars.

Sometimes it is nice to just not set the alarm and mosey around your resort and room throughout the day. After all you are on vacation!

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is a giant shopping and dining district that is always adding new experiences.

You can shop in the largest Disney store anywhere at World of Disney. There are also tons on unique specialty stores and shops.

If you’re hungry you can find any and all cuisines at Disney Springs from the most luxurious to the easiest grab and go.

If you’re in the mood for a drink there are dozens of lounges and bars around here, you’re sure to find a new favorite cocktail or small bite.

Head To The Outlet Store

If you want to try and save on some souvenirs head on over to the Character Warehouse at the Vineland Outlets.

These outlets are about 10 minutes from Disney Springs. Use any rideshare service and they’ll be able to take you right over.

You may not hit the jackpot but you’re sure to find something that you like at a deeply discounted price. Park shirts, pins, magnets, mugs and other souvenirs can always be found here.
