Top 5 FastPass+ To Book First

One comment

With all the attractions at Disney World that have FastPass+ it can be tough to decide which attractions truly require them.

Many first timers may not know which FastPasses to try and grab first. Many attractions that offer them do not even require a FastPass.

So, with a mindset of trying to help those who may be new to this process I thought it would be a good idea to look at the top 5 attractions to book first.

No matter the season these FastPasses will be the most difficult to secure.

For a full list of FastPass+ attractions check out the list here.

Number 5 – Soarin’ Around the World

Our first choice for top FastPasses to secure is over at Epcot. We’re starting with Soarin’ Around the World. Epcot is one of the most difficult parks to secure FastPasses due to the tier system.

All of the e-ticket attractions are in the same tier at this park meaning you must book multiple days to cover everything.

Soarin’ is a thrilling flight attraction that soars guests over some of the most popular locations around the world.

The first iteration of this attraction opened in 2005 and has garnered multi-hour waits since then. This makes it one of the most coveted FastPasses out there.

Number 4 – Slinky Dog Dash

One of Disney’s newest attractions, Slinky Dog Dash at Hollywood Studios is the perfect family coaster. The coaster just opened last year in Toy Story Land and has been warranting long waits ever since.

The coaster is thrilling enough for older guests and not too bad for the younger ones. That is what makes this attractions so popular and difficult to secure.

Number 3 – Frozen Ever After

We’re back at Epcot for Frozen Ever After, an attraction based on one of Disney’s most popular films, Frozen.

This attraction in the Norway Pavilion, has been extremely popular since its opening. This boat ride attraction includes your favorite characters and songs from the movie.

Mainly a slow moving attraction, the boat does move backwards at one point before heading face first down a slight drop.

This attraction is a favorite among guests of all ages.

Number 2 – Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Opening in 2014 at Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, still five years later, receives hours long waits all day. This is due to it being a great family rollercoaster.

The mix of dark ride techniques and the exhilarating coaster makes this attraction a fan favorite. This attraction also features some amazing audio-animatronics.

Unfortunately this attraction is very VERY short, this makes the FastPass all the more valuable. In my opinion this attraction is only worth the wait with a FastPass or at a specialty ticketed event.

Number 1 – Flight of Passage

Hands down the most difficult FastPass to secure is Flight of Passage. This Animal Kingdom attraction opened in 2017 and still receives multi hour waits all day, every day.

This exhilarating attraction is the pinnacle of Disney Imagineering. This is simulator based attraction but nothing like you have experienced before.

Flight of Passage activates all five senses on this attraction, really transporting the guest and giving them the feeling of flight.

This is the absolute first attraction you must try and book.
