We previously looked at some Disney Hacks for planning and touring your Walt Disney World Vacation.
Let’s dive back in with some additional tips to help save you time and money!
Avoid Extra Magic Hour Parks
The parks providing Extra Magic Hours for resorts guests typically tend to be the busiest that day.
Guests will plan to spend their whole day at these parks, especially if they do not have a Park Hopper.
If you only have a Single Day Ticket then I recommend skipping the extra hours and avoiding these parks that day.
The one or two hours you get in the morning will be washed out with how busy the remainder of the day will be.
If you do have a Park Hopper then hit up these hours but book your FastPasses at a different park.
Get in what you can during these hours and head on over to the next park.
Send Purchases To Resort or Front Entrance
If you make a purchase at one of the theme parks you have the option to have that purchase sent to the from of the park for pick up or delivery to your resort.
This option is great for not walking around with a ton of shopping bags.
If you are 48 hours out from your resort check-out you can have your purchases from the parks or Disney Springs sent to your resort shop for pick-up.
This is a great option for not worrying about it all. Otherwise you can just grab your stuff on the way out. You will have to allow a few hours though.
The Cast Member will typically ask you if you would like to deliver it while checking out, but if they do not don’t be afraid to ask! Not every store is run by Disney so they may not all offer it.
If you found something large you want to get your purchase can also be shipped home for an additional fee!
Many Quick Service dining location at all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and some of the resorts offering Mobile Ordering.
Mobile Ordering is part of the My Disney Experience app on your phone. This services lets you place and pay for your food order from your phone instead of waiting in line.
This means you can please your order before you are anywhere near the dining location. Once you are getting near you can go ahead and place the order and will be notified when it is ready.
This is a great time saving app, especially during those peak lunchtime windows.
The app lets you customize your options and some locations even have secret menu items just on the app!
Use OpenTable For Disney Springs Restaurants
Trying to secure a great dinner time for The Boathouse but My Disney Experience is only coming up with 9:00pm? Look it up on OpenTable!
Many of the restaurants in Disney Springs are run by third parties and can be found on the OpenTable app!
Just because Disney is out of reservations does not mean that the restaurants are, so while going through MDE might only provide later times OpenTable may have some better ones for your schedule.
